An Original Hand Carved Hiking Or Walking Stick Called "BARELY HANGING ON" By CosmicFuz What started out as a whimsical carving accidentally ended up to be symbolic of our times. I cannot speak for you folks but this strangely disproportionate character pretty well depicts how I feel at the moment, i.e. barely hanging on. As I think about it I should positioned one of his hands over his eyes. Then I could have called this a self-portrait. Hand Carved, Hand Painted & Signed Finished with a water-based sealer Foot protector added at the bottom for longer wear Wood: Sourwood Length: 54 Inches Approximate Weight: 1 - 1/3 pounds I have decided not to add a leather strap unless a buyer requests it. There is no additional charge but it may delay shipping by a few days since it requires touching up the paint or stain and re-applying sealer to the area where I drill a hole through the stick to accomodate the strap. Payment & Insurance PayPal Only. Payment is due within 3 days from the close of the auction unless we mutually agree on another schedule. Insurance is included in the purchase price.
